Pokemanion
Waiting on Claude got boring, so now a Pokémon runs in a pane beside it while it works and rests when it stops.
Pokédex-02
I wanted my sprite art somewhere other than a screen, so I built a handheld for it: ESP32-S3, a knob, two keys, a printed case.
Vinyl Radio
I missed putting a record on. Any song from YouTube or Spotify plays on a turntable you can scratch.

Finder Lasso
Finder only selects files in rectangles. This adds a free-hand lasso: hold a key and draw around the ones you want.

Sitelens
I kept wanting to see how good sites are built. It copies a whole site, or one element of it, in a minute or two.
Campus Dashboard
Campus events, places and people were spread across too many groups. This puts them in one app.

Built the data model and form builder for a multi-country onboarding module in their HR software, plus OCR that fills the forms from uploaded IDs.

Built a BigQuery pipeline on public US defence procurement data, with dbt models feeding a Looker Studio dashboard.

Lead a team of 35+ students and run TinkerQuest, the lab's national hackathon, in 2025 and 2026. Worked on MediBot and Robodog.
